Stuff to do this weekend

I really want to get to the movies and see Twilight this weekend but not sure it’s going to happen. It’s not playing at our little 3 screen here in Galax. It is playing in Mt. Airy at Creekside just about every hour – they have 2 screens showing it.

One of our bands, Scattered, from Cornerstone is playing at Cloud Nine Coffee in Mt. Airy Saturday night. Come out and be their groupies and hear some awesome music – these guys are getting really good. I’m president of their fan club Cloud Nine was formerly Moby’s and is in the shopping center beside Staples and Ruby Tuesdays.

Christmas Craft show at the Galax Recreation Center (4th floor basketball court) is Saturday from 10-4. My mom is selling her awesome homemade soaps.

Sunday night – the big season premier of 24!! There was no 24 last season due to the writers strike (and Keifer’s jail time didn’t help either). Looking forward to getting sucked into the life of Jack Bauer again.

Sitting inside with a cup of coffee and my book (just started New Moon(the Twilight sequel) and avoiding the firgid temperatures is going to be at the top of my list.
